Definitely, we are extremely unhappy with today's results.

Certainly, we wanted more than just this.

However, you guys really did a splendid job today. Your senior who watched the performance today said that she's very touched by what you all played.

Over the past few months, most of you have put in lots of efforts into this, and I believe anyone who have seen you all through all these while will be able to see that.

Kudos goes out especially to TB , percussion and CnB, because I really think that it's an achievement to play out something of such high standards despite the absence of a diyin and percussion instructor, and for TB, just having Chen Lao Shi to teach such a big group of you. It certainly takes lots of motivations and effort to play out something like that.

Of course woodwind and xian yue have put in lots of effort as well! =PP

But well, the judges will never know the amount of effort you all have put in and the difficulties that you all have. To them, it's just another secondary school chinese orchestra.

But you all know, and we all know, that you all have put in the best effort and have staged the best performance thus far.

This is really what that matters.

The results today may be an understatement of your true abilities, but it's time to move on and get ready to show everyone what we are really made of in 2011.

To the Sec 4s: Please please please come back and help out in CO whenever you can after you graduated, ok? and I guess this really goes out especially to seniors in TB, CnB and percussion, since you all how difficult is it for us to -cough- to cope with three instructors(when the school next door has five), any help from you all to guide them will certainly help your juniors to improve faster, and get ready for the next challenge, ok? Like what libin says, if they all get gold, it means we all get gold.

To the rest of the juniors: Now it's your turn to bring back what we should deserve. You have seen how much your seniors really wanted the gold back. Work hard, practise hard and listen to your dear instructors, they are the ones who can give you the best advice on how you should play. Please please please jia you!

2009 we may miss it by this small bit, but never mind, let's bag it back in 2011!

i totally agree with dave koh.
disappointment.
there's is little we, chairmans, be it junkai, dave, or me can do now.
however, a little CHANGE in everyone's attitude can help the entire CO.
ask yourself, have you ever feel that u had done more than enough for CO?
if it's a no, please, be a little more enthu, a little more interested and a little more concerned.
jus for a few more days.
working hard for jus the next few days may get us a gold.
y not?
our hardwork will be paid off.

even though u may had heard that we may get gold.
so?
in reality, we HAVEN got a gold.
and we still have only a few more days to PREPARE ourselves.
ARE YOU UP TO THIS GAME of OURS?

the only and main problem now is your ATTITUDE towards CO.
it's one of one last practice.
did u make full use of those hours?
did u play all the parts that mr lee had corrected you right?

there was once a feedback that you guys are having to much scoldings from us & are getting sick of CO.
do u think you really DONT deserve it?
however, we still take that.
we didnt scold you all.
we tolerated your misbehaviours.
every now and then, the chairmans&vicechairmans&other committee are settling all the problems, doing things for you.
opening/closing the doors, marking your attendances, your CO CAMP last year, CO NIGHT last year, SYF showcase in sch, preparing all the ties, instrument, xuans.
and its real hard for us to plan all this stuff.
why do you think we will want to spend all our time on these?
its for u.
and you all take it for granted.
so why cant you jus care about CO more this few days?

lastly, i hope today's incident of the LIUQIN, teaches everyone a lesson.
at this point of time, and u broke your instrument.
and few weeks back, they broke another LQ.
PLEASE TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR INSTRUMENT.
treat it wif care.

to those who wants a position, PROVE it to us.

want some glory,
work hard together&motivate the rest.
we're together as a whole,
nth is impossible.

one of the last few practices already.
where are we heading to?
gold? silver?

today was very disappointing, i don't know if its because of the fact that there is no instructor.
but you guys attitude was appalling. i hope this rowdiness and poor attutude will cease from today onwards. let's all move towards our "gold" for SYF.

to be truthful, my worry is not just SYF result.
although i know this standard is not our best yet, but theres not much that i can really do now as well.
however, if ur don't know yet, the school is going to make like a mini hall from our combine room to our CO room. and now that DANCE got GOLD for their SYF, and if we did not perform as ideal as them, then guess who will get the priority of the whole room next time?
this world is realistic and cruel, if we want to maintain what we have, or get more than what we are given right now, we have to WORK for it. Prove to the school that we are worth spending the money on.
no point complaining since we got nothing to show as well.

i know this is not our best. and we can still make it on time.
it is just whether you guys want to work for it.
we left 5 days. its all up to your.
i cannot make much of a difference.
but if we all put in effort and do our very best,
we can still carry our heads up even if we get silver.
at least, we know we have tried our best.
but if we were to be awarded silver now, can you lie to yourself that we have already put in our best efforts in preparing for the SYF?

for 30th april's showcase, i intend to let some of the potential sec 3 s to take over our chairperson's respondsiblities and organise CO for the showcase, so can i seek you guys' fullest support in aiding your peers. give them the support they need:)

CO, i hope you guys will understand that. As a family, we do not just share the GOOD TIMES.
we cheer, celebrate and be happy together. but at the same time, we slog, sweat and toil as a family as well. i really wish to see us sharing the BAD and TOUGHEST time together as well.
i am not able to take the blow entirely, the committee is not able to as well.
but if all of us, ALL OF US have no complains and push ourselves, i believe we will all taste the fruit of our labour. we will soar.together as one.

today DANCE has competed in their SYF this afternoon
and on 16 april, its choir's turn.

and lastly, CO is going for out SYF on 22 april! :D
its 8 days from now!
last week to chiong!!
ALL THE WAY GUYS! :D

its not gold/silver that we can or will take.
as long as we know we place our best and greatest effort with no reservations,
we've cliched gold with honours already. :)
just put our best in what we play and everything will be fine. :)
jiayous!
